A bold coral ring from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this ring features a large, oval-shaped centerpiece. The centerpiece is adorned with concentric rings of bezel-set coral stones. The very center of the piece features a vertical row of 4 coral stones, which vary between teardrop-shaped and circular cabochons. This central decoration of coral stones is surrounded by a twisted wirework border. The remainder of the concentric rings exclusively feature teardrop-shaped coral stones, and an additional twisted wirework border. The exterior of the centerpiece features a border of three-dimensional silver balls. The coral stones vary very slightly in color, but overall display a bold reddish-orange hue. The band of the ring is smooth and simple, and the backside of the piece is stamped with a maker’s mark which reads: “L. Hydeo” and the words “ZUNI, NM”. A true showstopper, this ring would look lovely worn on any hand!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 3.2mm, and the centerpiece has a height of 2 3/8″ and a width of 1 3/4″.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting, and all of the coral stones are intact and securely set.
