An elegant pair of diamond and pearl earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum and 14k white gold, these earrings begin with a shield-shaped surmount. The entire surface of the surmount is encrusted with a variety of old European, baguette, and marquise cut diamonds. The diamonds also vary in setting-style, and include channel-set, bead-set, and bezel-set. Each earring then features a 6.7, black Tahitian pearl, which add fabulous movement to the pair. The earring are completed by simple posts and friction backs, which are stamped with a “585” purity mark. A splendid pair, these earrings would make a striking statement piece for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: Th earrings have a total length of 1 1/8″. The pearls have a diameter of 6.7mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum and white gold setting, and all of the diamonds and 2 pearls are intact and securely set. The earring posts and frictions backs are in working order.
