A fabulous sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum this ring features a central 2.25ct four-prong set round cut sapphire. The sapphire is wonderfully faceted, and displays an incredible dark greenish-blue hue. The mounting of the ring features lovely filigree and cutout-work, and is further decorated with small bead-set single cut diamonds, which add a striking look to the substantial mounting. The diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A colorful piece, this bold ring would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.25 but could be easily resized. The band has a width of 1.56mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no damage to the platinum mounting, and all of the stones are secure and intact.
