A fabulous pair of diamond love knot earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring depicts a twisting knot centered by an old mine cut diamond. Both of the diamonds are held within five-prong settings, and have an approximate total carat weight of .14ctw. The front surface of each knot is decorated with three-dimensional repoussé detailing, which incorporates scrolling-motifs. The backside of each earring is smooth and simple. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A dainty pair, these earrings would be the perfect addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring measures 3/4″ long (including the earring wires) and has a width of 3/8″.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and both of the diamonds are secure and intact. The earring wires are secure and intact.
