A stunning pair of Etruscan earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k rosy gold, each earring begins with a circular surmount, which is each decorated with a bezel-set seed pearl, which is surrounded by a twisting wirework border. The earrings then feature a shield-shaped link, which is decorated with three-dimensional gold balls, twisting wirework, a blooming floral-motif, and black enameling. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A lovely pair, these earrings wold make a splendid addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements:Each earring hangs 2″ and has a width of just under 3/4″.
Condition:The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold earrings. Both of the pearls are secure and intact, and the earring wires are in working order.
