A lovely padlock pendant/charm from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This stylish piece is crafted in 9k vibrant yellow gold, and depicts a small heart padlock. The front of the heat is decorated with four “screws” and a keyhole. The backside of the piece is smooth and simple, and is stamped “EFC”, “9”, “375”, with a small anchor, and with an “x”. The top of the piece opens and closes via a padlock mechanism, and the heart features and additional bail, which would allow the piece to attach to a favorite gold chain or bracelet. A romantic and feminine piece, this pendant/charm would make an exceptional addition to any Victorian-era collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1″ long and has a width of 5/8″.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or bail, which is secure. The padlock mechanism is in working order.
