A gorgeous turquoise ring from the Vintage era (ca1960s) era! This wonderful piece displays a beautiful turquoise stone that is bezel set at the center of a substantial sterling silver centerpiece. The elongated turquoise stone is oval in shape and exhibits a gorgeous greenish-blue color. There are naturally occurring veins of rich brown and dark blue inclusions throughout (known as “matrix”), giving the stone a marbled appearance. The turquoise is surrounded by a twisted-wire border, and the top and bottom of the centerpiece feature three small sterling silver balls, which graduate slightly in size. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A gorgeous piece, this ring would be the perfect gift for any turquoise lover!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6, but could be easily re-sized up or down if desired. The turquoise centerpiece measures 1 1/4″ tall, 7/8″ wide, and rests about 1/4″ high.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or turquoise cabochon, which is intact.
