A fabulous sapphire and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, this ring features a central round cut sapphire, which is prong-set. The sapphire is wonderfully faceted and displays a lovely cornflower blue hue. The sapphire is surrounded by a lovely halo, which is represented by 12 old European cut diamonds, which are also prong-set. The gallery of the ring features a lovely arch-cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the ring features an original personalized engraving which reads: “L38” and “J14”. A delicate and feminine piece, this ring would make a lovely engagement ring or addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6, but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the sapphire and diamonds are all secure and intact.
