A gorgeous long crystal festoon necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This elegant necklace is comprised of 28 rock quartz crystals connected to each other by small sterling jump rings. The length of the necklace is comprised of 25 circular crystals, which graduate in size. The circular crystals are held in sterling silver cages, which further add to the unique appeal of the piece. Hanging from the necklace are three, teardrop shaped crystals, which are capped with sterling silver toppers. The necklace clasps at a simple sterling push clasp. The crystals have a striking appearance when worn and this necklace is particularly stunning because of its delicate and feminine touch. It would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures 16″. The largest, circular crystal has a diameter of approximately 3/4″, and the smallest 3/8″. The teardrop shaped crystals are approximately 2 3/8″ long and 1/4″ wide.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the crystals or to the sterling silver links. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
