Victorian 1.80ctw Old European Diamond stud Earrings

A gorgeous pair of diamond studs from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring features an old European diamond held within a 14kt gold setting. The sparkling diamonds weigh approximately 1.80ctw combined, with estimated H/I range color and VS2-SI1 range clarity. Each diamond is suspended in a raised belcher 6 prong setting and also has a handmade hinged safety feature that keeps the stud earring from being lost. Resting securely on the back is a simple gold screw back post and earring back. A perfect pair of everyday earrings, they are both classic and stylish!

Measurements: The front of each earring (the diamond within its surrounding border) measures approximately 6.20mm in diameter. When measured from the side, the diamonds within the raised prongs rest 6.31mm high.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamonds, which are intact and securely set. The posts and earring backs are secure and in good condition.
