Edwardian 14k/Platinum Sapphire Diamond Ring 6.50ctw

A breathtaking sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and topped in platinum, this gorgeous ring features an estimated 6.50ct sapphire in a gold bezel with a platinum milgrain topping. Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of 20 rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.60ctw, with each stone bead set into a milgrained tear-shaped platinum setting. On the underside of the mounting is an intricate scrolling punch work design, which is open to allow the stunning stones to be flooded with light from every angle. The elegant design is completed by a thin gold band holding up the centerpiece. A beautiful design, it would look perfect worn on special occasions, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could be easily be re-sized up or down. The sapphire and diamond centerpiece measures 7/8″ tall, just under 3/4″ wide, and 1/3″ thick

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold mountings. The sapphire stone and all of the diamonds are intact.
