Victorian 14k Equestrian Horse Leg Watch Key Pendant Charm

An unusual horse leg watch key pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14k gold and forms the shape of a 3-dimensional horse’s leg with a watch key at the tip. The design is highly detailed, including a horseshoe on the base of the hoof complete with 8 nails, and subtle texture representing its fine, smooth hair near the hoof. The watch key end features a gorgeous floral repoussé etching as well, and the two sections are separated by a movable round bail. The placement of the bail allows the piece to be hung on an angle from a favorite chain, adding a unique touch to the design. Measurements: The watch key hangs approximately 2″ long.

Condition: The overall condition of the watch key pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The bail is intact and in good working order.
