Victorian 14kt/Sterling Ruby & Rose Cut Diamond Crown Necklace

A beautiful gemstone crown necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The necklace is comprised of a crown-shaped pendant that hangs from a 14kt gold chain. The pendant is crafted in gold and sterling silver, and has a lovely mixed metals effect when paired with the gold chain. Decorating the crown is an artistic filigree pattern lined with luscious rubies and sparkling rose cut diamonds. The necklace fastens with a gold spring ring clasp in the back. A real beauty, the necklace has a very regal appearance and looks gorgeous when worn!

Measurements: The entire necklace measures 19″ long. The crown pendant is 1 1/2″ wide and 3/4″ tall. 

Condition: The overall condition of the crown necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver and gold setting or to the gold chain. The spring ring fastens securely and is in good working condition. All of the rubies and rose cut diamonds are intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the setting, which gives a darkened appearance to the setting, and is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry.
