THEODOR FAHRNER Art Deco Sterling Lapis Marcasite Pin

A wonderful and unusual signed Theodor Fahrner pin from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of sterling silver, this fabulous piece is fairly large in size and rectangular in shape. With a strong Deco design, the pin’s surface is covered in a checkered design which adorns sparkling marcasite stones. Three vibrant lapis stones are set within the pin, each with a bulging, convex face and rectangular shape, creating a wonderful colorful design. On the back is a secure pin clasp and the underside of the pin is stamped with the Theodor Fahrner “TF” hallmark along with “935”. This pin makes a true statement when worn and would make a lovely addition to any Fahrner collection!

Measurements: The pin measures 1 5/8″ widest, 1 3/8″ tall and 1/2″ deep.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling and lapis and all of the marcasites are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
