Art Deco Austrian Brass & Enamel Large Flower Necklace

A wonderful Austrian enamel necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920’s) era! Made of brass, this bold piece is comprised of an ornate pendant and complimentary chain. The pendant is particularly large in size and oval in shape, featuring a rich black enamel surface which is framed by an ornate black and white frame. Resting in the very center of the pendant is a white enamel flower which has a crystal center. The pendant hangs from a complimentary black and white enamel bail which attaches to the long brass chain. The chain fastens at the back and the back of the pendant is stamped “AUSTRIA”. A beautiful piece with a wonderful Art Deco look, it would make a lovely addition to any collection!

Measurements: The chain measures approximately 24″ long. The large, center pendant and bail hangs 3 1/2″ long, is 2″ wide and has a depth of 1/4″.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the brass setting or to the enameling and crystals, both of which are intact. The chain is intact and the spring ring clasp is in good working condition.
