A stunning aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14k white and yellow gold, and features a 1.50ct round cut aqua stone. The aqua is wonderfully faceted, and displays a pale blue hue. The stone is held within a clawed four-prong setting, and surrounded by an additional box frame. The centerpiece, gallery, and shoulders of the ring feature delicate filigree-detailing, which incorporates arch and marquise-shaped motifs. The band of the ring features delicate scrolling-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is marked with an “18K” purity mark. A lovely and feminine piece, this ring would make a great addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.75mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The aqua stone is intact and securely set.
