A beautiful carved band from the Art Nouveau era (ca1910s)! This lovely ring is crafted in rosy 9k gold, and features intricate foliage engravings. The engravings depict three-pointed leaves, and the top and bottom edge of the ring feature a simple border. The inside of the shank features a maker’s mark, which reads: “H.E.S”, a 9k purity mark, “375”, a small anchor motif, and the letter “r”. These hallmarks indicate that the ring was created in the year 1916 in Birmingham. A wonderful and intricate band, this ring would be perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could possibly be resized slightly. The surface of the band measures 5.9mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or engraved details.
