Edwardian 14k/Platinum Diamond Wishbone Necklace

A spectacular diamond wishbone pendant necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, the pendant forms a 3-dimensional wishbone shape, which is adorned with twenty-nine open-backed shared prong-set old European cut diamonds. A stunning 14k yellow gold chain connects on either side of the wishbone, creating an absolutely stunning necklace. The spring ring clasp is stamped “14KT”, and is intact and in good working condition. Measurements: The wishbone pendant measures approximately 1 5/8″ long and 3/4″ wide and the entire length of the necklace measures 15.5″.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant and chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum settings, or to any of the old European cut diamonds, all of which are intact. The spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
