A colorful engagement ring from the Retro (ca1950s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central, prong-set 2.50ct old mine cut diamond. The stone is incredible, display U color and VS1 clarity. The diamond is complemented on both the left and right by a singular, trapezoid cut sapphire. The prong-set sapphires display a deep, luscious blue hue, and have an approximate total carat weight of .65ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the outside of the shank features a small wolf’s head-motif and an illegible maker’s mark. These hallmarks indicate that the piece was originally crafted in France. The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #2235752174, which provides more information on the central diamond.A one-of-a-kind piece, this ring would make a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.13mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
