A sweet pair of diamond drop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and sterling silver, each earring begins with a diamond-encrusted surmount. Each surmount features a single, collet-set rose cut diamond. The earrings then feature a large, collet-set rose cut diamond. The rose cuts are phenomenally faceted, and dance in the light with every turn. The larger diamonds are surrounded by an exterior border, which is comprised of arch-shaped cutouts. The earrings are completed by simple lever backs. A true example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, these earrings would make a spectacular addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The earrings have a height of 5/8″ and measure 3/8″ at their widest point.
Condition: The earrings are overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set, and the lever backs are secure and in working order.
