Victorian 15kt/Sterling Diamond Frog Stick Pin

A charming diamond stick pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful sterling silver piece forms the shape of a 3-dimensional frog, which rests atop a 15kt rose gold stick pin, creating a lovely mixed metals appeal. The whimsical amphibian features outstretched legs with webbed feet and is encrusted with pavé set Single Cut diamonds across the entire surface. The sparkling stones catch the light beautifully with every turn and their brightness comes alive against the darkened patina background. Measurements: The stickpin measures approximately 2 1/4″ in total length. The frog measures slightly more than 1/2″ wide, and about 5/8 tall, and 1/4″ thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the stick pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting. The diamonds are intact and securely set. The pin is secure and in good working order.
