Victorian 18k Diamond and Pearl Enameled Masked Woman Pin/Pendant

A beautiful enameled pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 18kt yellow gold, this gorgeous pin features a round gold disk, which is surrounded by a braided wire border studded with pearls and rose cut diamonds. On the surface of the disk is an hand painted image of a stunning Victorian woman wearing a black mask over her face. Two old Rose Cut diamonds peek through the openings in the mask and represent her eyes. On the back of the centerpiece is a secure hinged c-clasp pin. This stunning piece is very unusual and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurement: The pin has an approximate diameter of 1 1/4″ and is a little more than 3/8″ thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold but there is some scratching to the painted enamel surface. The c-catch is secure and in good working condition.
