Wonderful gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, each earring begins with a circular hoop, which acts as the surmount. Another, smaller link is connected to the hoop, and is decorated with 6 turquoise cabochons, which graduate slightly in size. The lowest component of the earrings is a teardrop-shaped gold link, which is smooth and simple. The earrings are completed with simple wires. A colorful pair, these earrings would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 2 1/4″ long and measures 3/8” wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the turquoise stones are secure and intact. The earrings wires are intact and in working order.
