A stunning and intricate necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this necklace features a central, three-dimensional ball charm. The surface of the ball is decorated with intricate etchings, which add to the unique appeal of the piece. The large ball is bordered on both sides by two dainty love-knot motifs and two smaller gold ball beads. Two more love-knot motifs and six more small gold ball beads are dispersed along the chain. The necklace secures with an etched lobster claw clasp. The spring ring is marked with a maker’s mark which reads “L&M”, an “18K” purity mark, and a small “J”.
