Victorian French 18k Turquoise and Pearl Bangle Bracelet

A spectacular turquoise and pearl bracelet from the Victorian era (ca1880s)! Made of vibrant 18k yellow gold, the three-banded bracelet is a hinged bangle style with a stunning gemstone-encrusted centerpiece face. Resting at the center is a magnificent design comprised of six sugarloaf turquoises, which are bordered by two rows of six small pearls. Buttressing the centerpiece on each side are two prong-held pearls, and two cabochon turquoises, which are held in place by pinched-bezel settings. The bracelet is hinged and opens at a small push clasp at the back. The rich, blueish green turquoise stones mixed with the lustrous pearls create a unique combination. A gorgeous and very feminine piece, it would make an impressive addition to any collection!

Measurements: The circumference of the bracelet is approximately 7″. The surface of the bracelet measures a little less than 1/4″ wide. The turquoise and pearl centerpiece is slightly less than 1/2″ tall. The bracelet would fit best on a smaller wrist.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the turquoise and pearls are all intact. The push clasp opens easily and fastens securely.
